Hello. My name is Latrina and I’m a 24yo college graduate from the United States. Art has always been an interest of mine since I was a small girl. Drawing, painting, music, digital and web design are just a few of my creative outlets. Photography didn’t come into my life until I was fourteen when my mother bought me my very first digital camera. Clearly it’s not photography-worthy but back then I absolutely loved it; it was my first real camera after all. I snapped countless photos with it and with then a couple of years I accumulated more digital cameras.

It wasn’t until 2008 when I got my first dSLR: a Nikon d40. Oh my, what a new perspective of life and beauty it introduced me to. I still have so much to learn about dSLRs which is one of the reasons why I created this photoblog. Hopefully it’ll encourage me to get out there and photograph more, learning and experiencing new things along the way. I have plans to take photography classes soon and would love to be a photographer assistant.

I absolutely love nature and so expect to see tons of photos of trees, sunsets, clouds, and landscapes throughout my photoblog. I also enjoy taking photos of children; they make it so much fun. I love capturing their energy and spontaneity. :)
