| April 28, 2010 | Day 96: Curiousity. |
My niece was not feeling up to modeling for me today which is odd because she’s normally a ham. I was able to get this shot of her because I told her there was a spider in my camera lens… so she just sat there, staring curiously, just waiting for the spider to come out. :P LOL! I love that girl. Tagged in Black & White, Children, Portrait. |

Very clever of you, Latrina! I LOL’ed when I read how you tricked her into giving such an expression – her eyes are really full of curiosity! She’s really adorable – kids like that would normally run a mile away if I were to tell them of a spider on my lens, heh.
And you got a lovely shot. now to enter this trick into my bags of tricks :P
@ Ember. She’s not your ordinary toddler, that’s for sure. Just hours before this photo was taken, my grandmother and I over heard her saying “Snake… Snake…” to herself. Turns out she was near a snake that was making it’s way through my grandmother’s yard. She’s a brave one. :) Needless to say, my grandmother and I jumped up and snatched her away while she stared at the spot where the snake was at, lol. She’s a tom boy. :)
@ Nicholas. It’s a good trick! For those who don’t like spiders… try lady bugs or even butterflies. ;)
