Day 78: Serenity.

I knew that I did not want to take another photo inside of our apartment. I’m really trying, especially now that I got my new lens, to get out there and learn more. To witness more & to grow as a photographer. And I hope that one day I can look back on my 365 and see how much I have grown.

Anyways, as Chris and I were heading to Best Buy tonight, I insisted that he pull the car over so I could get a shot of the sunset. (It was breathtakingly beautiful… the sun was the largest I have seen it in awhile) Luckily, there was this small puddle of water that accumulated on the pavement which allowed for a nice perspective. I’m quite happy at the way this one turned out. :D

Glad you stopped. I always encounter the best sunsets when I am driving. But i never stop. Lots of missed moments.

@ Nicholas. I am getting to the point where I am literally totting my camera around with me wherever I go. I know what you mean though — I have passed up SOO many opportunities for great shots simply because I was either too lazy or I just didn’t have my camera with me. I’m making myself take the moment to stop and take a picture when the time arises.. because I don’t want to miss anything. :D
