I have not taken many photos recently so instead I decided to upload an older one. I found quite a few that I liked, even post-processed them in PS before I finally ditched them all. None of them felt right–until I came across this one. I captured this portrait of my sister last year. There are very few pictures of her and even less of her smiling. She’s fifteen years old and has had quite a bit of trouble the past few years. She’s struggling at the moment, still has quite not found her purpose in life nor has she realized the person she truly is. I cherish this photo very deeply because it is one of the few that really captures who she really is. A young and beautiful young woman with so much to strive & live for. So many dreams yet so many doubts overcasting them. Her piercing blue eyes tell so many stories. I love her deeply, if only she knew just how much. Tagged in Children, Emotion, Portrait. |

This picture wasn’t taken very long ago, but I can still tell how much she’s grown. She is an amazing young woman. I hope that she begins to find some sort of comfort in herself and the world around her soon.
@ Chris. Oh, me too. Very much so. I do have so much faith in her, I really do. I just wish she would have some faith in herself as well. Such a brilliant young girl! Very capable of so many good things.
Gah, it’s terribly sad seeing her, and Dalton, grow up! They are getting so big, I do miss them being children!
It is a truly beautiful portrait. Her eyes tell you so much; on the cusp of growing up, but still so unsure. Lovely.
Aww..I have to show this to my mom!! She won’t believe how much she has grown….Mom always enjoyed your brother and sister sooo much…
@ Merrilee. Most certainly. Although she may cover up and disguise herself with layers of clothes and makeup.. those eyes are not so easily hidden. For they always show who she really is. They make me reminiscence so much of when she was little. Was such a cute and silly child.
@ Candace. Oh, have they ever! Hah, can you believe Kelsey is 15 years old? Gah! It goes by too fast, way way too fast.
I never really liked this pic of me but i guess other people do. you never really know the true beauty you hold until you someone elses honest opinion on it :P lol but i want to say thank you to all the people who like this pic of me :)
@ Kelsey. Most girls never like pictures of themselves without makeup but I think that’s when you’re your prettiest! Hell, hardly any of the ladies in our family wear makeup. Natural beauties, ftw! Haha
But, you are absolutely GORGEOUS. All these nice comments is proof of that. :P
Incredible shy look with such an amazing skin details
Very nicely captured
More photos woman! Hut hut!

@ Merrilee. Haha, I’m editing one as I write this! It should be ready to post in a few. :D
@ Kelsey. That’s our family for ya’. Our compliments normally come off as sarcastic jokes. :P
lol yea that is true. why is our family like that?
I like her blue eyes, very much. It’s very blue, and blue is my favourite colour, and probably because I’m an Asian..
