I am naturally cold most of the time so you can imagine the special relationship I have with the sun. I find comfort in warm places like the inside of a car on a hot day. At least until my body starts to boil. :P I absolutely love the Spring unfortunately it’s a tease on some days. The sun will be shining so brightly yet the cool breeze keeps it from being warm. I still find ways to enjoy it in doors. I always have my blinds up during the day and when the sun starts the shine in.. I chase the sun rays around the room. I lie on the floor where ever the sun is shining in. I’ll grab a pillow and a good book and lie there.. occasionally adjusting myself as the sun rays moves along the floor. It’s the best place to take naps too. :) Tagged in Nature, Spring. |

This picture perfectly captures the essence of comfort, especially with the warm sunlight and how it’s reflecting off the room. I noticed the plant in the corner, eeek! Is this the new plant?!
And the Spring is such a tease, what a good way of putting it.

I’m naturally cold, too. My family calls me an old lady because I always have a blanket on in the summer.But! It makes sense to me because the a/c is on in the summer and it gets chilly indoors! Brett’s always hot, though, so I’ve learned to bundle up.
I like this picture. It’s a good reflection of you; I think that even without the description, I could gather from this picture the relationship you have with the sunshine. :-)

@ Morgan. Haha! Thank you for comparing me to a kitten! Naw, that is so funny. I didn’t even think of that. I suppose you are right though. :)
I am always bundled up as well. I swear I am the only person in my family who’s naturally cold. I have to bring a hoodie and socks to both my Aunt’s and grandmother’s house. You’re right about the a/c! I prefer to have the windows open and the fan on. Of course, that all changes in June when the fan just doesn’t cut it any more. :P
Thank you! I’m glad I was able to capture what I was feeling at the time. And you got it with out the description, yay! :D Oh and yesss! That is my new plant. Isn’t it lovely!? It has grown a few inches already. I am the uber plant mother.
This is the kind of weather I’m always dreaming about – warm sunshine but the air isn’t scalding hot. That’s why every year my family will drive hours up to this mountain-top resort. The temperature there is around 15 deg celcius, not particularly cold for those who’ve experienced winter (I told my US friend and he went “you call that cold?!”, LOL!) but well, that’s the best refuge we can find in a tropical country. On good days, the resort will be showered with ample sunshine and yet the air remains refreshingly cooling. At night, the whole area gets fogged up pretty badly and nothing beats eating a warm meal at the edge of the mountain.
I’m very afraid of cold though! My brother don his usual casual clothing up the resort but I’ll have to wrap myself with layers of clothing. And the worst thing is being forced to sit on a bone-freezing toilet seat.

@ Teddy. Psh. 15C is cold to me! But it can get down to -6C here so.. 15C is just fine. :P The place you described sounds lovely though! I think you may have had pictures of this place on your website? :) I love fog. Is that weird? hehe, I think it’s beautiful! Eating a nice warm meal along the edge of a mountain sounds amazing.. I am very jealous. :P
