Chris insisted on me to post this picture. “It looks so good!,” he says.. I’m sure it’s mostly because it’s his yummy creation rather than my photo. :P He’s very proud of his hamburgers and I must agree with him. They are, by far, the most flavorful hamburgers (or any meat) that I have ever eaten. We were sitting at the coffee table the other night eating them when the sun shone through the window and directly hit the hamburger. I’m telling you, it was gorgeous. I was like “Chris! Look how sparkly the grease is!” hehe. So I grabbed my camera and took that photo. :) It’s not very surprising.. I often take photos of my food. You’re all invited over for hamburgers! I am superchef. And yes, you are all invited* over for hamburgers.

Wow Chris, you’re good! You are not only good with pen and ink but also food :P mmmmph. Looking at the burger glittering underneath the golden evening sun is something many would go crazy for – especially when I’m viewing in a few hours before lunch time. I’m dead hungry and here comes that sinfully tasty burger. Is there an egg inside? I see it sandwiched between the meat and the bread – it reminds me so much of my childhood years. My mom would make those egg-fried bread (cracking the egg in a hot saucepan and then throwing in the bread) and prepare my lunchbox. Awwww!
This photo requires 2 things – an awesome cook (Chris) and a great photographer (you!). See? You complement each other, hah :)
Have a great Sunday!
@ Teddy. It’s probably the loads of lettuce & mustard you’re seeing. No egg this time! Although Chris and I have put eggs on our hamburger before and it was sooo tasty.
Oh yum! Your mom’s egg-fried bread sounds so delish! I have not eaten breakfast just yet so all this talk of food is making my tummy anxious! :P
Gosh I’m salivating right now! The meat looks so juicy and succulent. What a tease! =P Love the lighting too. There’s no better flash than that big fireball outside the window, hah!
And Latrina, I’m curious. What time exactly does the sun set over at where you are? Its probably summer hence the longer daytime right? You don’t get people saying ‘night’ and ’sun shining through the window’ in the same sentence all that often here in tropical Malaysia. =D
Oooh and Teddy, my mom used to make those egg-fried bread too! Oh mans I could seriously have some right now.
Chris was right! The burger looks delicious and the light is gorgeous.
Oooo….what a lovely picture! I don’t eat a lot of red meat, but… I think I’d enjoy the company of you two and of course, I’d have to try one of these hamburgers! You’re a great photographer, Latrina. You found beauty in a sandwich…haha. =)

@ Ember. It’s spring time over here in Mississippi, USA and the sun sets around 7:30pm. We normally have dinner around 6′ish and so the sun is always shining straight onto the table. I normally have to pull the blinds down so the sun doesn’t hit my eyes. :P
@ Lucy. Ty! There’s no better lightning than the sun. :D
@ Morgan. “found beauty in a sandwich” haha, I love it! You are welcome over any time. :D
